ENGINEERED MATERIALS FOR LUXURY DESIGN

Where Advanced Materials Meet High-End Design

California Nanotechnologies enables luxury brands to create distinctive, high-performance components using advanced materials and manufacturing technologies not available through traditional supply chains. From concept to production, we turn powders into fully dense, precision-engineered components with unmatched control over structure, texture, and performance.

DESIGN WITHOUT MATERIAL LIMITS

Traditional materials limit design. Cal Nano enables you to engineer the material itself unlocking:

  • Unique colors and surface finishes in ceramics and metals
  • Custom material compositions and blends
  • Multi-material components (metal + ceramic + composite)
  • Fine microstructures for premium tactile feel
  • Lightweight, ultra-durable alternatives to traditional alloys

TECHNOLOGY: SPARK PLASMA SINTERING (SPS)

We use Spark Plasma Sintering (SPS / FAST) to rapidly densify powders into high-performance solids.

This enables:

  • Near-full density materials
  • Exceptional surface quality and detail retention
  • Minimal grain growth → refined textures and finishes
  • Rapid iteration from concept to prototype

Unlike casting or machining, SPS allows us to build the material and the component simultaneously.

We work with brands developing:

  • Watch components (cases, bezels, internal parts)
  • Jewelry and wearable materials
  • Luxury hardware and accessories
  • High-end consumer product components
  • Special edition or limited-run materials

A NEW CATEGORY OF LUXURY MATERIALS

Luxury is no longer limited to gold, steel, or titanium.

Cal Nano enables brands to create entirely new material identities—designed from the atomic level up.
