California Nanotechnologies is proud to host the SPS/FAST Experts Workshop 2026, bringing together the world’s leading researchers, engineers, and industry professionals in Spark Plasma Sintering (SPS) and Field-Assisted Sintering Technology (FAST).

 

Join us alongside TMS 2026 for two days of technical insight, networking, and hands-on learning:

 

Day 1 – March 19, 2026 | Hilton San Diego Bayfront

Experience a full day of expert presentations highlighting the latest breakthroughs, process innovations, and real-world SPS/FAST applications. The day concludes with an elegant networking dinner overlooking San Diego Bay.

Day 2 – March 20, 2026 | Cal Nano Facility Tour

Guests will board private charter buses for a guided tour of California Nanotechnologies’ newest manufacturing facility, showcasing large-scale SPS systems capable of sintering advanced materials up to 16"+ in diameter.

 

Tentative Schedule

• 8:00 AM – Depart San Diego via Charter Bus

• 10:00 AM – Facility Tour Begins (Santa Ana, CA area)

• 12:00 PM – Depart Santa Ana for Return Trip

• 2:00 PM – Arrive Back in San Diego; Event Concludes

 

Pacemaker Safety Notice:

Our SPS systems generate high electrical currents and strong electromagnetic fields, which may interfere with or impair the function of cardiac pacemakers and other implanted medical devices. All attendees, visitors, and observers who have a pacemaker or any other implanted or body-worn medical device must notify workshop staff prior to entering laboratory areas. Access to certain areas may be restricted or denied to ensure individual safety and compliance with facility safety requirements. Safety requirements will be strictly enforced.
